One more thing special about this month is PETS. For pet parents its August Pet Awareness Month at Chalet Landscape, Nursery and Garden Center in Wilmette.
The phrases like “PET CAUSE” and “DOG DAYS OF SUMMER” get new meaning due to this event. It is all about pet care and pet adoption. During the whole month of August, every weekend day different rescue and shelter organizations from the whole area of Chicago will gather at Chalet’s award-winning Pet Essentials department. The event is scheduled between noon and 3 p.m. for meet-and-greets with adoptable pets.
