How Does NexGard Combo Function?
NexGard Combo’s active ingredients attack external and internal parasites in distinct ways.
Esafoxolaner is an ectoparasiticide, which means it eliminates external parasites that live on or in the cat’s skin, fur, or ear. It disrupts the way messages travel between the parasite’s nerve cells (neurotransmission), resulting in uncontrolled nervous system activity and death.
