CanadaPetCare March Sale 2022

You might have taken your pooch to dog parks, several times and during the visits you might have left your furry pal to sniff and play around with fellow beings while you observe him closely smiling at his antics, picking up his messes and observing his behavior from a distance. This gesture shows that you really love him.

But there are certain dog owners who treat dog parks as a place where their dogs can run wild, ignoring all the posted rules and common courtesy. We know no one is perfect in this world, but at least we can try to do our bit to ensure that the pooch and fellow beings are not affected during the play. Not every dog owner complies with this idea and so we see different types of personalities in the dog parks that are quite weirdos in their own making. Are you familiar with any of them?

The Poop Neglector

These people are commonly found in dog parks. We bet you might have met a person who ignores collecting the doggy poop in bags. Do these people have any problem with common courtesy? Are they scared of the poop or what? Do they have any problems with their vision as they cannot see their pooch crouching down in an obvious dog-dump stance? We see this all the time, don’t we? So the next time you see a poop neglector, ask him to collect the dog poop in the doo-doo baggies as they are available everywhere for free.

The Big Show Off

These people think that they are acting cool by being a show off, but actually at the park the show off behavior yields zero returns. They play with their pooch by throwing a frisbee or ball along with observing the females in the park using dark sunglasses. They take out the sunglasses when an attractive woman approaches them.

It is fine to meet new people and seriously, we don’t have any problem with that if there is an event in the dog park that encourages single dog owners to hook up with the opposite sex but when the behavior becomes way too obvious or unwanted the situation becomes weird. When you look at these people your first reaction is that your casual outing with your doggy has suddenly transformed into a beach party!!

The Worrying Owners

These people want the best for their pooch, but in doing so they consider their furry pals as the center of attraction and the only thing that matters. They react to every move that their dog makes which results in a chaotic situation in the park.

The Casual Owners

These people are just the opposite of the worrying owners as they always react casually to everything and consider dogs-will-be-dogs attitude. But they forget that their furry pal can sometimes engage in aggressive play, which can result in serious injury to fellow beings. The dogs of such people are the most dangerous as they have the attitude “My doggy does not bite, he’ll work it out”. They are totally unaware of the antics performed by their pooch as they are busy looking at their phone while their tyke snarls and confront other dogs. So be aware of such people in the park!!

The Solitary Hearts

These people are quite lonely and consider their furry pal as their sole companion. Dog park visit is an opportunity for them to blabber about the brand of treats that their doggy eats and stories about how flea & tick treatments worked wonders on their furry pal. They are extremely passionate about their tyke and it reflects from their behavior, but you often wonder when you encounter such people, why doesn’t this person let me enjoy the sunshine and see my furry pal playing?

Have you encountered any of these people in your dog park visits? If yes; share your experiences with us and we would be glad to incorporate in our blog and give you due credit for it. Till then keep reading and stay vigilant when you encounter any of these weirdos in the dog park.
